It allows you to create social graphics (flyers) web pages, and short videos using a variety of templates and high-quality stock images. This free software is easy to use and provides multi-platform publishing options.

WeVideo
It is a cloud-based collaborative video editing service that helps students create and share great-looking videos. With an extensive collection of images, videos, and sounds the editing capabilities of WeVideo allows you to create professional-looking videos. The free subscription limits videos to 5 minutes.
Classroom use: create Digital Storytelling videos for a variety of subjects and book talks (audio only) and/or book trailers. Here is a sample of book talks for the DGSLibrary.
Scrible
Scrible is a web-based software that helps you save the information you find online, annotate that information, and organize your source citations, in-text parenthetical citations, and your Works Cited page. It allows for collaboration and for teachers to create a classroom where students' individual libraries exist.
Flipgrid
Flipgrid is a social learning tool that allows you to record and share short videos. It can be used as a sampling tool to asses pre-knowledge or as a quick formative assessment tool.
Classroom use: Used for pre-assessment with Early Childhood classes and as a review tool after the completion of the unit. Here are samples for pre-assessment and review.
